The other countries produced less than 1 million tonnes. Algeria, Libya, Oman, and Sudan produced in 2001 nearly 850,000 tonnes and Iran produced the same as those countries combined. The UAE comes third in producing dates. Saudi Arabia comes after the UAE. The difference between them is approximately twenty five thousands tonnes. Pakistan and Iraq have the same production in tonnes.
